Materials fee:  $35 (one-time fee) to cover craft supplies.

Tuition:  $30 per month

Supplies needed:  Pencils, set of markers, shirt to be kept in backpack to protect clothing, 

 

COURSE DETAILS: The purpose of this class is to enhance students’ life-building skills such as problem-solving, sequencing skills, organizational skills, task persistence, creativity, and cooperation with others through fun, craft-making projects.  Students will also improve fine motor skills and coordination as they work on their projects.  Various mediums will be used such as clay, paint, yarn, wood, beads, sand, tissue paper, and cloth.  Examples of projects are rock painting, a wind chime, a string art heart, a sand painting, a clay sculpture, and Christmas ornaments.
