COURSE DETAILS: American Sign Language (ASL) is a fascinating language. In Beginning ASL, the first thing we will learn is to sign the alphabet and to spell each student’s names in ASL. We will then learn basic signs for the most common words in various groups including: people, foods, animals, colors, numbers, clothes, actions, and commands. Students will also practice by playing decoding games, playing simple games like Uno, signing simple books, and making simple conversations.
