BIBLE CLASS: THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF MANKIND

Supplies Needed: (A Bible, notebook, and pen or pencil) 

Homework: Expect 3-4 hours of homework every week. For your convenience, we will use Google Classroom for communication and assignments. 

High School Credit: Yes, this Bible class will be robust and may be counted as a 1 credit hour course. 

COURSE DETAILS: What we believe about God and about ourselves determines how we understand and value everything else. It really is the most important thing about us. It determines how we understand our origin, our purpose, our morality, and destiny. The Bible reveals an infinite God, who is infinitely valuable, and has a much more glorious plan and purpose for the people He created in His image, than we could ever imagine.   

In this course, we will spend the first semester learning what the Bible reveals to us about who God is, what He is like, and why that knowledge is integral for everything else in our lives. I trust that through this class we will not only gain a greater Biblical knowledge of God, but we will love Him all the more as well. In the second semester, we will learn what it means to be human, created in God’s image, the impact of the fall, and the glorious redemption that redeems us to a far greater destiny than being restored to the garden of Eden.  

This is going to be a great class that will be thoroughly Biblical and impactful. I’ m looking forward to our time together!
