Jackie Gardner is excited to join the teaching staff at Master’s Hand! She and her
husband, John, moved to Colorado in 2021 and attend Grace Church in Longmont
where John serves as the Associate Pastor of Student Ministry. They also co-lead the
Young Adults ministry at Grace.
Jackie earned a bachelor’s degree from Geneva College in Math Education in 2006.
She taught middle and high school math for three years in Illinois, and then continued
teaching middle school math for 11 more years in Pennsylvania at a private Christian
school. In 2016, Jackie graduated from Covenant College with a master’s degree in
integrated Curriculum and Instruction. Jackie also coached beginner’s volleyball for
many years, as well as competitive math teams!
Her favorite part of teaching is getting to know students and helping them progress from
being challenged by a skill to mastering that skill. Jackie also enjoys reading, baking,
traveling, trying new food, and spending time with friends.
