COURSE DETAILS Get ready for a fun year of practicing early reading skills and learning classic rhymes and stories! Through poems like “Hickory, Dickory” and “Baa Baa Black Sheep” as well as tales like Aesop's “The Crow and the Pitcher” and Jesus' “Parable of the Hidden Treasure”, students will practice concept of word, rhyming, simple phonics, counting, and more. Each week we will read one poem or story and then do crafts, games and activities related to its theme. We will also learn 26 scripture verses throughout the year. Activities will include making mini-books, tracing, coloring, and role-playing games.
