COURSE DETAILS: Get ready for a fun year of practicing early reading skills and learning about great American Heroes! Through inspiring stories of real people like Squanto, Paul Revere, Helen Keller, The Wright Brothers, and Clara Barton, students will practice concept of word, simple phonics, determining theme in stories, and more. Each week we will read a story about one historical figure, then do related crafts, games and activities. We will also learn 26 scripture verses throughout the year. Activities will include making mini-books, tracing, coloring, and
various themed crafts!
