students will study God’s design in living organisms—from the microscopic world of cells and bacteria to
the complexity of plants, animals, and the human body. Throughout the year, students will also learn to
think critically, take structured notes, write lab reports, and develop strong scientific habits.
Laboratory Component: The lab portion of this course fulfills the requirements for a full highschool biology
lab credit. Students will complete a variety of experiments including microscope work, slide analysis,
biological drawing, and dissections (earthworm, crayfish, fish, and frog).
