Kitsy is a grandmother of 6 and a mother of 3.  She had the privilege of homeschooling her children and is currently helping her daughter as she begins homeschooling her children.  Kitsy graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in Education.  She has 17 years of experience in the public schools - 7 years teaching science at the middle/high school level, 1 year teaching art to K-6 grade students, 2 years teaching 3 year old’s, 2 years teaching English and Math to adults, and 5 years substituting for grades K-12 in many subject areas - including special education.  She has always loved teaching - especially science.  She sees the study of science as a way to better understand ourselves and the magnificence of God and His creation. Her desire is to share her love of science and her Creator with her students and help them to develop a love for both as well.
