Course Description:

Fun & Food Science!

Wait what? Well, who doesn't love fun and food? It's fun to make, it's fun to eat, it's fun to ...study? You bet it is!!! There is a lot of science that goes into the everyday foods that we all love. We will ask questions such as how baking ingredients work, how and why certain ingredients mix well together, why some don't, and why our tastebuds differ.
God made us, and God made foods for us to eat. We will explore many different aspects of food science with new experiments each week. This will be a very hands on, interactive class. Kids will learn the basics of the scientific method, while applying God's word to show them how science is actually proof of God's amazing plans for all of creation! Food is necessary for life, but this class will show them the fun side of different foods each week! It will also show them a very fun characteristic of our loving Father!
*We will be using real foods for this class. We can work around most food sensitivities if this applies to your child. However, if your child has any severe food allergies, please contact me before signing up to make sure this class is a good fit for your kiddo!
