Language Arts: LEGO Story Starter

Prerequisites: Basic writing skills 

Appropriate for:  3rd through 5th grade 

Ages: 8-10

Tuition: $30

Materials to be supplied by the student: ● Notebook  ● Pencils with erasers or separate erasers. No pens or markers, please. Semester supply fee: $30  Supply fees to be used for: copying, colored pencils, crayons, specialty LEGO pieces, various teaching subscriptions

Approximate hours of homework per week: Only necessary if work wasn't finished in class 

Course Description: Students will write stories and then create 3-D scenes using unique LEGO Elements provided by Coach B. We will work on the basics of beginning, middle and ending of story writing. Most work will be done in class. LEGO elements will remain with Coach B and will not be allowed to be taken home by students. Students MUST check Google Classroom weekly for posting of Action Mountain, updates and pictures of builds.
